Where to ask questions, report problems and talk to the people who build Bor
Bor is developed in the open by Vute Tech and its contributors. Questions, ideas and bug reports are welcome from anyone, whether you run two desktops or two thousand.
Discussions
Questions, how-to threads, ideas for new policy types and show-and-tell. Searchable, so an answer helps the next person too.
Discussions live on GitHub for now. They will move to a self-hosted Discourse instance under the project's own control; the links here will follow, and nothing changes on your side.
Matrix chat
Real-time chat with the developers and other users. Join from any Matrix account, for example one on matrix.org; the room is public and its history is readable.
Bug reports and code
Found a defect or want to contribute? Issues and pull requests are on GitHub. The contributing guide explains the workflow and the Contributor License Agreement.
For anything that does not belong in public, and for security vulnerabilities: never open a public issue for those. Reports are acknowledged within 48 hours and disclosure is coordinated with the reporter.
News
Release announcements and design write-ups are on the blog, with an RSS feed. Conference dates, slides and recordings are on the talks page, and videos on YouTube.
Bor Enterprise and support
Commercial support, licenses for Bor Enterprise and anything to do with a purchase go to Vute Tech, the company behind Bor. The Enterprise page lists what the commercial edition adds.
